What this site collects when you use it, and the terms under which the gazettes are made available.

This is a placeholder. The Ministry of Legal Affairs will publish the final privacy notice and terms of use for this site. Until then, this page states only what the site does today.

Accounts and personal details

This site has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or other personal details.

Visit statistics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser for that purpose.

Chat assistant

Questions you type into the chat assistant are sent to Google Gemini, an AI service run by Google, to find relevant gazettes and write the answer.

Contacting us

Email links on this site open your own email application. Anything you send, including your email address, is handled by the Gazette office.

Use of the gazettes

The gazettes on this site are copies of the Official Gazette of Guyana as published. Guidance on their legal standing, and the terms under which they may be reused, is being confirmed with the Ministry of Legal Affairs.
